Bookmark partnered with luxury yacht hire company, Boatbookings, to generate new leads in the US, UK and Australia. This partnership would also keep Boatbookings top of mind with their existing customer base. We created a monthly newsletter filled with inspiring destinations and experiences, which married our travel insights with brokers’ expertise. We also ran paid social and search campaigns, which were analyzed and optimized each month for best results.

Strategy

Our media plan combined the power of email marketing with multiple paid media campaigns (both search and social). Our focus for paid media was to engage new prospects through lookalike audience profiling on social, as well as optimizing search campaigns to target specific audience groups.

Once we had engaged new prospects, we used retargeting tactics with the intention of converting them. We also redesigned key landing pages, such as the website’s inquiry form, to ensure a smooth customer journey. Each monthly email newsletter focused on a popular destination, and featured inspirational travel experiences through beautiful imagery and recommendations. The newsletter also highlighted yachts and itineraries, and encouraged readers to contact Boatbookings should they have any inquiries.

Results

Within the first three months, our campaigns directly attributed more than 200 new inquiry-form completions, gained 76K Google ad impressions and 990K Facebook impressions.
