To create a state-of-the-art platform with greater functionality for hosting additional, new and interactive content that would deepen audiences’ understanding of the orchestra’s work across all their activities, from live performances to educational projects.
We created a best-in-class, responsive website that works across mobile, tablet and desktop. Intuitive navigation allows users to find content easily, whether they’re visiting the site for information about concerts, the performers, the orchestra’s educational programme or to watch behind-the-scenes videos. By integrating Spotify and other digital musical platforms into the design, visitors to the site can now preview the programme before booking. All of this provides a much richer experience and a deeper insight into the orchestra and its unique qualities.
The website design was aligned to the new visual identity that Bookmark helped evolve across other marketing collateral, from brochures to concert programmes.
The site placed the Academy’s work front and centre, making navigation simple and easy. The orchestra has seen an up-take in high-quality traffic, good levels of engagement with site features such as the integrated Spotify playlists, and a marked increase in onward traffic to book tickets for performances around the world.
