MONTREAL – January 7, 2019 – Bookmark Content and Communications celebrates wins from the Pearl Awards, Applied Arts, National Magazine Awards, Digital Publishing Awards and the Editors’ Choice Awards on behalf of Air Canada and Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).
Bookmark Content and Communications is proud to look back on 2018 as an award-winning year for our teams and clients.
Our Air Canada enRoute team won acclaim for their work in print, digital and video. Air Canada enRoute magazine won two Applied Arts awards for Design in the Single Article category, for “Travel Design Awards” and for “High-Flying Gifts”, with design and art direction by Stefanie Sosiak and Nicolas Ramirez. The magazine’s June 2018 issue also took bronze in the Pearl Award’s Best Cover category, proving that branded content can be award-winning creative.
At the Editors’ Choice Awards in June 2018, the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors named Air Canada enRoute “Best Custom Magazine”, and former editor-in-chief Jean-François Légaré won Editor of the Year – the first time the award went to a branded content publication.
Once again, Air Canada enRoute’s flagship program Canada’s Best New Restaurants proved a huge success, with the 2017 installment winning two Digital Publishing Awards in Best Digital Editorial Package and Best Online Video. Finally, the enRoute team snagged a silver in Short Feature Writing at the National Magazine Awards for the piece “Osaka to ’Em” by Christopher Frey.
The APEX Media (Airline Passenger Experience) team won silver at the Pearl Awards in Best Overall Content Program for the APEX Experience Media Platform.
