Named after the much-photographed eponymous building, the Flatiron District is the bustling home to some of the world’s finest restaurants, anchored by two magnificent parks: Madison Square and Union Square. The district was once known as the Toy Center due to the concentration of toy manufacturers and children’s garment factories. Besides the Flatiron Building, the area is home to numerous architectural treasures, and just steps from Koreatown and the Empire State Building.
