Brief

To evolve Fidelity’s investment guides and magazines – these only existed in static printed form, meaning that they were missing customers and losing out with intermediaries.

Strategy

To address the needs of first-time investors, we created Investing Essentials, a series of downloadable educational guides that used a simple graphic language to bring products and services to life.

To engage more knowledgeable investors, we created iOS and Android digital versions of Fidelity’s monthly Investment Ideas and quarterly Investment Outlook print magazines. These could be shared and viewed on multiple devices and downloaded from Apple Newsstand.

Results

This suite of communications generated sales and improved brand perception. Uptake of the Newsstand products is excellent.
