1. What do you do?
I am the Editor on the multi-account desk in Bookmark’s in-flight team. I oversee an array of in-flight magazines and websites for the likes of SWISS and British Airways.
2. Have you learned something at your job that completely surprised you?
That the world of inflight entertainment is continuously evolving.
3. What is the one thing your colleagues probably don’t know about you?
They of course know now, but I think they were all surprised when I came back from holiday in September married, having eloped to Las Vegas.
4. What’s your favourite project that you’ve worked on since you started here?
Forgive the humble brag, but it was actually me that came up with the name “Bookmark”. From being involved in the early brainstorms, to making the suggestion, to seeing Bookmark become a reality was amazing. I still get a thrill when I see the Bookmark logo emblazoned on the office walls.
5. In your opinion, what makes for good content?
Something that starts up conversation.
6. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I play football once a week and am in continual denial that I’ll never turn professional. I also spend an unhealthy amount of time watching box sets.
7. What’s the last thing you read/saw that inspired you?
I recently finished Charlie Chaplin’s autobiography, which actually came about from me writing a feature for SWISS Magazine. For someone largely known as a silent comic he was a wonderful orator and it’s a real rags to riches tale.

9. What’s the best-kept secret in the neighbourhood?
It’s no secret amongst the Bookmark London office, but Leather Lane, which is just around the corner, is a hub of culinary delights.
10. What is the one piece of advice that has helped you the most since you started working in this industry?
Be confident. As content providers we need to listen and understand our client’s needs, but equally we’re experts in our field and we shouldn’t be afraid to guide our clients in a manner that will benefit them.
